The NZ Boat, Fish & Dive Expo Returns to Mystery Creek for 2026
The NZ Boat, Fish & Dive Expo is back at Mystery Creek Events Centre, running Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August 2026, with more than 150 exhibitors confirmed so far.
It brings New Zealand's boating, fishing and diving communities together under one roof for a weekend, with the latest boats and marine gear alongside tackle, dive equipment and plenty for the family. It joins events like the Hutchwilco NZ Boat Show on the annual calendar, giving Waikato boaties a big show closer to home rather than a trip north to Auckland.
What's on show
The expo is packed with the latest boats, marine gear, fishing tackle and dive equipment. Big names like Stabicraft, Haines Hunter, Surtees, Yamaha, Mercury Marine, Garmin, Shimano and DAIWA will all be on show, alongside plenty of Kiwi boatbuilders and dive brands including Aqualung, Scubapro and Rob Allen. If you're in the market for a new boat, it's a good chance to compare a few in person before you buy.
A weekend for the whole family
The expo isn't just for die-hard boaties. There's seafood on offer, cooking demonstrations, and a market-style mix of clothing, art and gear stalls to wander through. Kids 12 and under get in free, which makes it a more affordable day out if you're bringing the family along.
The organisers also use the event to support causes tied to the boating and fishing community. This year's fundraising goes toward the Wish4Fish Charity, Legasea and NZ Coastguard, three organisations that rely heavily on donations to keep doing their work on the water.

Getting there
Mystery Creek Events Centre sits just outside Hamilton, close to the expressway, with plenty of free parking on site.
